Defensive Pistol (5 hrs), $150.00
A deposit of $50.00 is paid at registration, $100.00 balance is due on the day of class and paid by cash, check or money order
Though economy of effort and consistency, students go through a series of challenging drills to develop the knowledge, skills and attitude to carry and use a concealed pistol efficiently and with confidence.
Our training is “performance based”, so we can accurately measure your progress during the class.
We start by reviewing basic pistol shooting fundamentals and holster techniques, then move on to different challenging drills. We review the principles of concealed carry, threat identification, proper use of cover, concealment, scanning, different shooting positions, we review gear, different small pistols and much more.

New York State Law and Use of Deadly Force (2 hrs), $25.00
A deposit of $25.00 is paid at registration, a cash donation is recommended on the day of class.
This class is specially important if you use a firearm for personal protection inside or outside the home.
The class is conducted by an attorney who will introduce you to the laws of the State of New York, the legal aspects of self-defense, use of deadly force, what to expect from the legal system and how to be prepared for an event such as this.
FunShoot – IDPA Style Pistol Challenge (2hrs), $35.00
Beginner to Advanced Level
The FunShoot is an informal, unofficial competition among friends. You shoot and reload from different stations, at different targets, from cover, on the move and against a timer. This is the perfect event to be introduced to competition or to sharpen your skills. Bring any safe firearm in the calibers allowed.

Firearms Safety Class, $75.00
This course is a must if you want to handle any firearm safely. This class is a requirement in the County of Westchester for a NYS pistol license.
Conducted in a classroom, no live fire or ammunition.
Basic firearm safety and safe firearm storage
Pistol Mechanics & Operations:
Introduction to pistol mechanics, revolver and semi-auto pistols parts and operations, operating double and single action revolvers and semi-auto pistols, ammunition fundamentals.
Building Pistol Shooting Skills:
Fundamentals of pistol shooting, fundamentals of pistol shooting positions, bench-rest and standing pistol shooting positions, common pistol shooting errors, clearing common stoppages.
Pistol Maintenance, Selection and Use:
Cleaning and maintaining your pistol, selecting pistols, pistol ammunition, accessories, pistol shooting activities and activities for skill development.

NRA Firearms Safety – Phase 2 (live fire, 5hrs) – $100.00
Beginner to Advanced Level*
If you just received your new NYS pistol license and need a safety refresher or are applying for a CT license and need a practical firearms safety class, this is the course for you.
Will be conducted in a classroom, students will review firearms safety, proper storage of a firearm and range safety. Part 1 also includes the fundamentals of pistol shooting, loading, unloading and pistol maintenance.
Will be conducted on the pistol range, where students from a bench and standing will review shooting positions and perform a qualification.
Students will review sight alignment, sight picture, stance, breathing, trigger control, follow-through, load, fire, reload and unload a handgun, learn to avoid common pistol shooting errors and clear common pistol malfunctions.
At the end of Part 2, students will perform a shooting qualification, from level 1 basic to level 3 advanced. This is done in accordance to the NRA lesson plans to ensure proper knowledge and safety.
